چکیده
A selection of these reports is available in PostScript form at the Faculty's anonymous ftp-Abstract Structured transfer matrix systems are linear systems given by transfer matrices of which the innnite pole order of each nonzero entry is known, while the associated innnite gains are unknown and assumed mutually independent. In this paper necessary and suucient conditions are derived for the generic solvability of the well-known disturbance decoupling problem by measurement feedback for structured transfer matrix systems. Generic solvability here means solvability for almost all possible values for the innnite gains of the nonzero transfer matrix entries. The conditions will be stated in terms of a bipartite graph that can easily be associated to a structured transfer matrix system. The advantage of this is that the conditions then can be veriied by means of graph theoretic algorithms.

Partial disturbance decoupling problem for structured transfer matrix systems by measurement feedback
Partial disturbance decoupling problems are equivalent to zeroing the first, say k Markov parameters of the closed-loop system between the disturbance and controlled output. One might consider this problem when it is not possible to zero all the Markov parameters which is known as exact disturbance decoupling. Structured transfer matrix systems are linear systems given by transfer matrices of w...
متن کاملSolvability conditions for disturbance decoupling problems with static measurement feedback
Two well-known disturbance decoupling problems are considered. A checkable necessary and su cient condition is derived under which the disturbance decoupling problem with static measurement feedback (DDPKM) is solvable for a class of multi-input and multi-output linear time-invariant systems, which have a left invertible transfer matrix function from the control input to the controlled output....
متن کاملDisturbance decoupling for nonlinear systems by measurement feedback: sensor location
The paper addresses the problem on sensor location regarding the solvability of the disturbance decoupling problem by dynamic measurement feedback. Three methods are given to find a measured output, which guarantees the solution to the problem. It is also shown that the results for linear structured systems on sensor location when applied to infinitesimal linear representation of nonlinear syst...
متن کاملGeneric decoupling problems for structured time-delay systems
In this paper, linear structured systems with delays are considered. The generic structure at infinity of such systems is defined and used to solve the disturbance decoupling problem and, above all, to bring a new solvability necessary and sufficient conditions to the row by row decoupling problem by generalized state feedback control laws. For the two considered problems, the provided conditio...
متن کاملDisturbance decoupling by measurement feedback
The paper addresses the disturbance decoupling problem for MIMO discretetime nonlinear systems. A sufficient conditions are derived to solve the problem by dynamic measurement feedback, i.e. the feedback that depends on measurable outputs only. The solution to the disturbance decoupling problem, described in this paper, is based on the input-output linearization, which is used to linearize cert...
